Leadership Development Program: Creative Practice for Sustainability at MnDOT
Attend this training facilitated by MnDOT’s Artist in Residence to both contribute to her work around public engagement and learn about creative practice as a method applied throughout the agency. Participants will interact to share perspectives and generate ideas regarding how MnDOT can meet its obligation to reduce carbon emissions through multimodal transportation and fewer miles driven per capita. Participants will both participate in and learn some methods of creative and collaborative practice that they can use in their own work.
Objectives
After attending this training, participants will be able to:
- Define civically engaged art and explain why MnDOT has an Artist in Residence
- Contribute to the public engagement surrounding the current Artist in Residence project
- Apply the principles of creative practice to other work of the agency
