The goal of this unit is to advance walking and bicycling in Minnesota.

- Statewide planning documents that guide scoping/need identification, engagement, investment priority, and implementation
- Education and encouragement events to increase participation in walking and bicycling
- Technical assistance on projects that advance walking and bicycling
What to expect from the unit
- Deliver trainings and other learning opportunities to deepen understanding of the needs of people walking and bicycling in Minnesota
- Review and comment on interim deliverables, including layouts and environmental documents

- Documentation of major project decisions (including discussions with local officials) that impact walking and bicycling
