TSRT Introduction to Indian Country
This training course enables you to learn about tribes in Minnesota, tribal sovereignty, tribal governments, tribal membership, the legal definition of Indian country, terms for land ownership in Indian country, and jurisdiction in Indian country.

Abstract
This 60-minute course is recommended for employees whose work responsibilities involve actual or potential actions that may affect tribes or tribal interests and is open to all interested learners. This course provides the background information about jurisdiction in Indian Country, legal terms and definitions for land ownership, and covers some of the basics of tribal sovereignty, tribal governments, and tribal membership.
