Social media graphics
Principle
All social media ads and boosted posts/events must meet brand and accessibility standards to ensure they appropriately present the agency and are designed for all audiences.
Standards
Visuals
Visuals must be submitted in jpg, png, gif or mp4 format—do not submit a PDF.
- Submit three image sizes: 16:9, 9:16, and 1:1 (see Figure 1).
- Include all ratios for optimal content across channels—for example, 16:9 is ideal for Facebook link previews, ensuring higher click-through, and 1:1 is for the Instagram feed.
- Images must have a low amount of text and be ADA-compliant for both content and design.
Alt Text
Craft concise alt text (125 characters max) for social media visuals, describing key elements and conveying the image's message for accessibility. Prioritize clarity and relevance.
For further information and examples, please review the Social Media Accessibility Guidelines.
